On February 25, 2010, H.E. Mr. Ian Hill, New Zealand Ambassador to Russia, and Mr. David Hope, Second Secretary (Trade and Economic), paid a visit to the Higher School of Translation and Interpretation. Director Nikolai K. Garbovsky and his guests discussed, inter alia, the prospects of partnership and collaboration between the HSTI and NZ Universities in the fields of science, tertiary education, and culture, including student and faculty exchange programs.
