Graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1997 with a degree in the teaching of Russian language and literature.
In 2003, she successfully defended her thesis on: The Moving Forces and Trends of Ukraine's Language Situation, specialty 10.02.19 "Language Theory".

Research Interests: bilingualism, language policy, principles and methods of Russian language teaching.
